BASF feeds Prisma employees

“Over the last year, frontline workers have been essential to keep society functioning, and our friends and neighbors at Oconee County Memorial Hospital have also been working tirelessly on the front lines helping to treat and heal those affected by COVID-19 and other illnesses,” Elba Lizardi, site director for BASF in Seneca, said in a news release. “Today we salute all the steadfast health care employees who are committed to the health of our community.”

Countybank raises $5,000 for regional nonprofits

Countybank’s first debit card donation campaign, lasting throughout the month of December, raised $5,000 for local nonprofits and charity organizations.

“We could not be more thankful to our customers for consistently using their debit cards during the holiday season to help us reach our goal,” R. Thornwell Dunlap III, president and CEO of Countybank, said in the release. “These funds will aid in the ongoing activities and operations of Upstate organizations as we enter 2021. We are honored to have the means to contribute to these great causes.”

  • Greenwood Area Habitat for Humanity
  • Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation
  • Piedmont Technical College Foundation
  • Rebuild Upstate
  • Self Regional Healthcare Foundation
  • United Way in Greenwood, Greenville and Anderson.
