SVN BlackStream, a commercial real estate firm headquartered in Greenville, has acquired SVN Commercial Real Estate Advisors in Cornelius, N.C. The expanded firm will operate under the name SVN BlackStream, according to a news release.

The acquisition deal, which was finalized on March 7, was negotiated by Tom McMahon, managing director of SVN Commercial Real Estate Services; Ford Elliott, CEO of SVN BlackStream; Alex Dmyterko, president of SVN BlackStream, and Josh Howard, senior vice president of SVN BlackStream, the release said.

SVN BlackStream, which specializes in commercial real estate investment sales, landlord leasing and tenant representation, disposition and corporate services, has been operating in the Greenville market since 2014, and had been seeking to establish a larger footprint in the Carolinas, the release said. After the acquisition, the new SVN BlackStream will have nearly 55 advisers serving markets in North Carolina and South Carolina, according to the release.
