Jordan Skellie of Lee & Associates Greenville-Spartanburg represented Germany-based MEVA in the selection and purchase of a six-acre property located near the intersection of Interstates 85 and 26. The company’s 55,915-square-foot facility will house 20-25 employees, including an engineering staff and product development personnel.

MEVA provides contractors with a range of German-made modular formwork and shoring products used in pouring structural concrete for industrial, civil and commercial structures, as well as large mixed-use and multi-family projects.

The company chose the Spartanburg site for quick access to major commercial construction projects in the Carolinas and metro Atlanta, according to a news release.

According to Scott Fisk, president of MEVA Formwork Systems, locating and finalizing the purchase of the property required persistence from the Lee & Associates team.

“This market is exploding as companies see the Upstate’s proximity, quality of life and affordability,” he said in the news release. “We were fortunate to have Jordan’s depth of knowledge and sense of urgency.”

Skellie, a senior associate/principal at Lee & Associates, said the Spartanburg area has become a focal point for companies looking for industrial and distribution property.

“Given the dynamics of the market, we had to move quickly to secure a property that met MEVA’s requirements,” he said in the release. “It’s been rewarding helping Scott find the perfect location to leverage the company’s technologies throughout the Southeast.”

Avison Young commercial real estate said that Rakan Draz, James McKay and John Odom represented Arlington Property Ventures in the purchase of a 3,500-square-foot retail building at 3518 Clemson Blvd. in Anderson, from the Miriam and Victor Ludwig Trust for $1.8 million. John Wright Sr. of McCoy Wright Commercial Real Estate represented the seller.

Jedson Engineering expanded with an additional 3,857 square feet, for a total of 8,026 square feet of office space at 700 Executive Center Drive in Greenville. Kyle Berdugo and Laura Harmon of Cushman & Wakefield Thalhimer handled lease negotiations on behalf of the tenant.

Pete Brett and T Cox of Coldwell Banker Commercial Caine represented Westone Development LLC in leasing a 1,528-square-foot retail space at 109 W. Stone Ave., Suite E-3, Greenville, to ANKI 9 LLC.

Taylor Allen, Brantley Anderson and Bailey Tollison of Colliers represented S&S Services Group in leasing a 2,078-square-foot office space at 10 Patewood Drive in Greenville.

Chuck Langston of Langston-Black Real Estate represented the seller, Advanced Property Investments LLC, in the sale of their 51,925-square-foot building at 110 Smith Road in Greenville. This move is part of a business expansion plan for the purchaser, Everworks Inc.

Josh Tew and Monty Todd of Pintail Capital Partners represented the landlord, CCRP Pelham LLC, in the lease of 5,209 square feet at 115 Pelham Road in Greenville to Savvy Bride Boutique Greenville LLC.
