The Spinx Charity Classic Golf Tournament will be held at the Furman University Golf Club and Greenville Country Club’s Riverside and Chanticleer courses on Tuesday May 12.

Feeding into the convenience retail and fuel company’s mission for “Growing healthy kids where we live, work, and play,” the 2oth annual tournament will benefit the American Red Cross, Safe Harbor, Loaves and Fishes, Pendleton Place and the Children’s Museum of the Upstate.

“It is quite an accomplishment to have sustained such a successful charity golf tournament for all of these years,” Stewart Spinks, Spinx’s founder and chairman, said in the news release. “I am absolutely thrilled at the amount of money we have raised for all of those in need within our communities and I look forward to another successful event in May.”

Over $1.3 million has been raised for Upstate charities by the Spinx Charity Classic Golf Tournament since the event’s inception in 2000.
