Spinx raises $325,250 for the American Cancer Society

(Photo/Provided)As part of The Spinx Co.’s 12th annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, the Greenville-based convenience retail chain raised $325,250 across 84 stores this fall.

Spinx Co. Founder Stewart Spinks presented a check to Kelly Jamerson, senior director of community development for the American Cancer Society.

“As a cancer survivor myself, I know the importance of the work that the American Cancer Society accomplishes each and every day,” Spinks said in a news release. “For the 12th year in a row, The Spinx Co. is honored to support their mission and its efforts in education, treatment and research to discover more successful treatments, and ultimately a cure for cancer. I am so proud of our team’s efforts and know that our local communities will benefit greatly from their hard work and the generosity of so many of our customers.”
