An Upstate company is working on an app that will “increase mental health among the veteran community.”

Sharpen, which is located in The GreenHouse Business Incubator at The George, is announcing a partnership with Upstate Warrior Solution on the app called, Sharpen Warrior.

According to its website, Sharpen “integrates the work of top researchers in multiple disciplines of mental health with proprietary media, to produce documentary-style educational tools.” The company currently offers courses ranging from understanding eating disorders to stress management for parents and educators.

The partnership will officially be unveiled at a reception at 4 p.m. today at The GreenHouse, which is located on the third floor of the George Dean Johnson, Jr. College of Business and Economics.
