Upstate company assisted in Halloween delivery

If you ordered your Halloween costumes online, chances are good it was delivered to you with the help of technology that was developed in the Upstate.

FastFetch Corp., located at 657 S. Mechanic St. in Pendleton, makes e-commerce order fulfillment technologies used by companies across the country to handle online orders efficiently, quickly and accurately, according to a news release.

One of FastFetch’s customers is BuySeasons, an online distributor of Halloween costumes located in New Berlin, Wis.  BuySeasons uses technology developed by FastFetch to handle costume orders placed online at Amazon, Target, Walmart and JCPenny, the release said. FastFetch’s technology enables online companies like BuySeasons to quickly locate and retrieve products from their distribution center.

“Our technologies are hidden from online shoppers, but they are critical elements of e-commerce that enable companies to deliver products quickly and accurately,” said Jack Peck, FastFetch cofounder and president, in the release.
