Former Mauldin economic developer joins new real estate firm

After a career in economic development where he often left his fingerprints on real estate development deals, Van Broad has left city government to join the real estate industry.

Broad is the former community development director for the city of Mauldin, where he helped attract the city’s Bridgeway Station and City Center projects. He is joining a new firm started by Kyle Frair and Vince Frair, who had been working mostly in residential real estate.

The new firm, Venture Coast Realty & Property Management LLC, is in suite 201 at 135 S. Main St. in Woodruff. The company is a full-service real estate brokerage with expertise in property management, residential sales and service, commercial and light industry location, and consulting governmental services, Broad said.

Broad was brought on as the senior development manager. Kyle Frair is South Carolina director; Kirby Frair is director of government event planning, Vincent Frair is real estate broker and property manager, and Laura Minnucci is real estate sales associate.

In addition to the office in Woodruff, the company has a location in Wellington, Fla.
