HOT PROPERTIES: International headquarters relocates in Spartanburg

(Photo/Provided)NAI Earle Furman recently leased 18,500 square feet of office space to Spartanburg-based Gibbs International Inc. to relocate their international headquarters. Gibbs International will move from 9855 Warren H. Abernathy Highway in Spartanburg to the 5th floor of the office building at 201 W. St. John St. in downtown Spartanburg.

Gibbs International works in the pre-owned industrial equipment space, especially textile equipment. They also provides services to decommission industrial facilities and in real estate.

The headquarters move is expected to take place in January.

The transaction was facilitated by senior associates Brian Hammond and Richard Heatly of NAI Earle Furman’s Spartanburg office.

Other commercial real estate transactions include a lease extension of 4,775 square feet of retail space in Suite 100 at 531 S. Main St. in Greenville. Shannon Caldwell of NAI Earle Furman represented the landlord, Falls Place LLC.


Katherine Fulmer of NAI Earle Furman represented the landlord, Warrior Grove LLC, in leasing 479 square feet of office space in Suite 109 at 104 N. Daniel Morgan Ave. in Spartanburg to Upstate Mental Health. Fulmer also represented Warrior Grove LLC in a lease renewal of 163 square feet of office space in Suites 105, 106 and 110 to Upstate Mental Health.


John Gray Jr. of NAI Earle Furman represented the sublessor, OB Hospitalist Group, in leasing 7,903 square feet of office space at 777 Lowndes Hill Road, Building 1, in Greenville to Shepherd Outsourcing LLC.


David Sigmon and Matt Vanvick of Pintail represented the landlord, Pattillo Lumber Co., in the lease of an 8,346-square-foot office space at 80 Villa Road in Greenville, to tenant LSG & Partners LLC.


David Sigmon and Matt Vanvick of Pintail represented the buyer, Poinsett Alliance Holdings LLC, in the purchase of a 1,800-square-foot office building at 2307 N. Main St. in Anderson from seller Day Resources LLC.


Ben Hines and Andy Hayes, agents with Spencer/Hines Properties, helped usher in the sale of 3,000 square feet of office space at 280 Dillon Circle in Spartanburg. Bible Study Time Inc. bought the property from Hangar Prosthetics & Orthotics Inc.


Agents Dale Seay, Ben Hines and Andy Hayes of Spencer/Hines Properties helped close a deal for 1,018 square feet of investment property. Cook Realty LLC sold the property at 390 Beech St. in Pacolet to Mzee Capital LLC.
