North Greenville University has revised the curriculum for graduate level courses for its human resources professional certificate and its MBA program with a concentration in human resources.

NGU professor Ed Sherbert updated the curriculum for each of the university’s five graduate HR courses to mirror best practices and strategies in the field and to reflect the latest practices that comply with the Society for Human Resource Management competency model, according to a news release.

The model “ensures that HR professionals are proficient in the critical behaviors and knowledge necessary to solve today’s most pressing people issues and strategies,” Sherbert said in the news release.

NGU offers a 12-hour graduate HR professional certificate in addition to the MBA with an HR concentration, both designed to serve business professionals.
