A new Upstate professional baseball club is set to unveil its official name, colors and logos.

The Spartanburg Professional Baseball Club announced will debut its identity at a community-wide block party on Saturday, May 11, near the site of the future Fifth Third Park, according to a news release.

The event, which is free and open to the public, kicks off at 5 p.m. and will feature food trucks, live music, kid’s activities and more leading up to a celebration revealing the team’s new identity, the release stated. Fans and attendees can expect to purchase exclusive team merchandise featuring the new name and logos, as well as visit a jersey customization station where they can personalize their own team jersey with their name and favorite number.
