WellSpent forum connects health care, business leaders Friday

WellSpent, a new forum organized by the Employer-Provider Interface Council, will link health care to issues in the wider business community this Friday at Greenville’s Poinsett Club.

The conference hosts three roundtable discussions and networking sessions lasting from 8 a.m. to noon with moderators from Southeastern Health Partners, LiveWell Greenville and Upstate Mobility Alliance, according to a news release. Guests will be invited to weigh in on discussion topics including public-private partnerships and economic development, workforce development and metrics for gauging success in health care.

Speakers include Billy Sims, senior vice president of policy administration for  Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Co.; Dr. Randy Vogenberg, EPIC’s board chair; and Rob Hanley, district governor Rotary in western South Carolina.
