Anderson restaurant executive appointed to Tri-County Tech Commission

The president and CEO of the Anderson Restaurant Group, Hamid Mohsseni, has been nominated by Gov. Henry McMaster to serve on Tri-County Technical College’s Commission.
Mohsseni manages Tucker’s Restaurant and Carson’s Steakhouse and Saloon, as well as a restaurant management and commercial leasing operation. He is also a member of the Anderson Economic Development Board, which he formerly served as chairman, according to a news release.
This one-year position is not Mohsseni’s first leadership experience in the education field. He currently serves on Anderson University’s Board of Regents and as an ex officio member of the Tri-County Technical College Foundation.
Other boards Mohsseni has participated in include the Anderson Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Anderson County, the AnMed Hospital Foundation, the Anderson YMCA and Region’s Bank, according to the release.
