From the owner of Coastal Crust, Brian Piesner, a new café will be opening in the former Perch Gastropub location in Greenville’s Overbrook neighborhood on East North Street.

In addition to owning five Coastal Crust locations and a new concept called Costal Snack Bar, which is located on James Island, this will be the second Vintage Coffee Café location — with the other being in Mount Pleasant, the same location as Coastal Crust’s first brick-and-mortar location— and Piesner’s eighth establishment. Coastal Crust recently opened its newest location in Travelers Rest on Jan. 19, with the other Upstate location in West Greenville.

“Vintage Coffee Café has become a staple of the community in Mount Pleasant and as our restaurant group expands into the Upstate, we stumbled upon this opportunity in the Overbrook community and knew that it’d be a good fit,” said Coastal Crust’s Marketing Director Katy Jurkiw. “The sky is the limit, so we are hopeful to continue to expand our brand further. The space is beautiful already, and we feel that Vintage Coffee Café will fit perfectly into this community.”

Menus across all their restaurants are similar but never exactly the same, said Jurkiw.

“We like to provide our staple offerings that we are known for, while adding in some unique items specific to the location,” she added.

Vintage Coffee Café in Overbrook is anticipated to open in late spring/early summer, although an official opening date has yet to be nailed down, said Jurkiw.
