Bon Secours opening new urgent care center

Bon Secours St. Francis Health System is expanding its AFC Urgent Care Bon Secours sites to include a new 3,000-square-foot location at 2709 Pelham Road. It opens on Friday. The center joins six existing Greenville County centers at Augusta Road, Pleasantburg Road in Cherrydale, Grandview Drive in Simpsonville, West Wade Hampton Boulevard in Greer, Wade Hampton Boulevard in the Taylors area, and Woodruff Road.

(Photo/Provided)The center will care for patients from age 2 and up, providing urgent care, employer health services and basic wellness services., according to a news release.

“Convenient access to care is paramount for today’s population. Bon Secours is excited to be opening this center on Greenville’s east side,” Ann Allen, COO of the Bon Secours Medical Group, said in the release. “Bringing an urgent care location to this area will enable Bon Secours and AFC to offer patients enhanced access to care and improved quality of care, at a reduced cost.”

The center will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with no appointment needed.  Saturday and Sunday hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
