Spinx celebrates newest store with White Horse Road location

The Spinx Co., the Greenville-based fuel and convenience retail company with more than 80 locations and 50 car washes across the Carolinas, celebrated the opening of its latest location at 4161 White Horse Road in Greenville.

The new store, at the intersection of White Horse Road in U.S. Highway 123, opened with ribbon-cutting fanfare on Jan. 11.

“We are thrilled to continue our expansion throughout the Greenville area,” Steve Spinks, CEO and president of The Spinx Co., said in a news release. “We look forward to bringing top-notch service, quality products and a convenient shopping experience to nearby residents and travelers.”

Spinx No. 297 offers quick-service food including fried chicken, chicken biscuits and chicken tenders.

Spinx was founded in 1972 by Stewart Spinks, chairman, and remains headquartered on Washington Street. It is the largest privately held retail employer in the state.
