The Greenville Area Development Corp. is giving away its last supply of hand-held, non-contract infrared thermometers to Greenville County companies while supplies last.
The thermometers can be used for rapid screening of employees or visitors from inside a vehicle, according to a news release, and measure body heat when pointed at a forehead.
Critical infrastructure workers and companies engaging in high person-to-person interaction will be prioritized for the giveaway. Priority sectors include chemical, health care, defense industrial, energy, food and agricultural, among others.
Interested companies can request thermometers by contacting GADC at [email protected].
