Jeffrey T. Gold Appointed to Greenville Airport Commission

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Jeffrey T. Gold is appointed to serve on the Greenville Airport Commission (GAC) effective December 1, 2023. Gold replaced Stanley G. Mays as one of the two Greenville County appointees that serve on the GAC. Mays served on the commission for a total of six years. Gold is a Commander and Check Pilot/Instructor for Flexjet, LLC and brings a wealth of commercial aviation experience to the Greenville Downtown Airport.
The GAC is the governing board that owns and operates the Greenville Downtown Airport (GMU). GMU is the busiest general aviation airport in South Carolina and does not rely on local taxpayer funding. GMU strives to connect with the community by providing family activities in their Community Corridor and includes Runway Park, Runway Cafe, Takeoff Mini Golf, and a military history museum.
