Luxor Scientific offers testing discount through Spartanburg Chamber

The Spartanburg Area Chamber’s Bringing Back the Burg Business Recovery Task force has partnered with Luxor Scientific to extend discounted fast-turnaround COVID-19 testing to Spartanburg businesses.

Participants will receive COVID-19 test results for employees within 48 hours and at a 52% discount, according to a news release. The nasal swab tests are FDA approved with packages tailored for each business.

“Access to rapid testing is key to combating COVID-19 in the workplace,” Allen Smith, chamber president and CEO, said in the release. “Long turnaround times for employee test results cost businesses time and money. This partnership saves Spartanburg businesses both.”

Once confirmed through BringingBacktheBurg.com, businesses can send employees to Luxor Scientific’s lab at 1327 Miller Road in Greenville for a test, host an on-site event if more than 50 employees are tested or send in tests to Luxor after being collected by a qualified on-site nurse.

“Testing speed and accuracy, paired with strong safe workplace programs, have proven to be the keys in minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 virus,” Jay Flanagan, chief strategy officer at Luxor, said in the release. “We’re very pleased that the community recognizes this, and to be able to help.”
