A new luxury apartment community is now open in downtown Greenville’s West End district — steps from Fluor Field and Falls Park on the Reedy River.

The project, The McClaren, caters to the needs of Greenville’s growing community, according to Lighthouse Living’s news release.

“We are immensely proud to officially unveil The McClaren, a beautiful community that pays tribute to Greenville’s West End history while providing city-style upscale living spaces,” said David Mann, president and founder of Lighthouse Living, the project’s developer.

Forty percent of The McClaren’s 246 pet-friendly upscale apartment homes have been leased.

Several different layouts are still available including ground-level lofts with 20-foot ceilings, and corner apartment homes with large balconies overlooking Paris Mountain.

Other community amenities at The McClaren include a fitness center with private balcony, equipped with “cutting-edge” equipment, private interactive virtual training studios, steam and sauna rooms, and a massage and meditation studio.  There is a private barista-operated coffee bar in the lobby featuring regional award-winning Junto coffee, according to the release.

The lobby clubroom can also be reserved for exclusive resident events. Play continues with the official Tiger Woods state-of-the-art golf and sports simulator with virtual reality headset. Residents can work from home with The McClaren’s co-working booths and podcast studio. The marquis amenity of the McClaren is the expansive pool deck overlooking the Greenville skyline featuring outdoor green turf, BBQ biergarten, and oversized hotel-style pool area with cabanas, and fire and water features.

The McClaren’s management team also has an extensive background in hospitality and service, and the community features regular bi-weekly social engagement events exclusively for residents.

“The more I got to know Greenville during design and execution of The McClaren, the more I understood why it is on every national list of ‘top cities’ to live, work, play and visit,” said Michelle Coletti, Lighthouse Living’s director of development.  “I always use Greenville as an example of stellar urban planning and a case study of how to foster sustainable growth while striking a balance between conservation and responsible development.”
