The second phase of a popular food hall at Greenville’s Unity Park is well underway with the announcement of its new tenants.
The facility is now fully leased, according to Drew Parker, co-owner and developer of The Commons.
The new food and beverage tenants are LaRue’s, which has a location in Poe West; Kuka Juice, which has a location in West Greenville; Luna Pizzeria, Noodle Night, MooHogz BBQ and Indigo Kitchen.
Adding more restaurant options was in the plans from the beginning, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused a significant delay in its progress, said Parker.
“We are excited to add a few more great food options and give our customers a little more variety,” he added.

On average, each of The Commons’ restaurants employs more than 20 people, said Parker. In addition to the restaurants, the food hall has more than 50,000 square feet of office space that is home to 15 businesses.
“While I don’t have an economic impact study that I can share, the benefit of this project to the area is significant,” said Parker. “When you consider the improved roads, sidewalks, public safety, employment opportunities, sales and property taxes, plus residual impact to the service providers and vendors serving the businesses, it is not hard to see how projects like this are good for the community.”
Developers anticipate opening Phase II of The Commons during the spring of 2024, said Parker.
The Commons was co-developed by Parker Group, Ridgeline Construction, and Rion Smith.
