Greenville Drive using customer data to enhance experience

The Greenville Drive is partnering with a company called StellarAlgo to help create a “deeper and more meaningful connection” with the baseball team’s fans.

The Greenville Drive is part of the South Atlantic League and the Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

The team is using StellarAlgo’s customer data platform to support the Drive’s desire to create a long-term fan relationship that lasts beyond the final out of a single game, according to a news release.

“Our organization prides itself on providing family-friendly, affordable entertainment to our community,” Craig Brown, owner and president of the Greenville Drive, said in the news release. “To continue enhancing what is already a great fan experience, we need to continue to learn more and more about our fans. We were familiar with the value StellarAlgo has been providing other Minor League Baseball teams and were impressed with their hands-on approach and relationship mindset.”

StellarAlgo’s customer data platform uses machine-learning technology to enable live audience organizations to gain insights and understanding of their fan universe, the news release said. The platform’s predictive capabilities allow organizations to understand customer propensities for products and events.
