NGU schedules professional development seminar

The T. Walter Brashier Graduate School at North Greenville University is hosting a professional development seminar on Thursday, Dec. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Art of Professionalism seminar is designed to educate professionals about refined communication skills. Tracy Kramer, associate dean of the North Greenville University Graduate School of Business will lead this workshop that will focus on developing and demonstrating workplace behaviors which will lead to excellence in job performance and effective communication, according to a news release.

“In today’s business world, professionalism in communication, conduct and presence will set you apart quicker than any other skill. This workshop is designed not only to help new managers polish their professional image and gain an advantage in their careers, but also to train supervisors on how to implement this training in their workforce,” said Jill Rayburn, director of academic engagement and outreach at the university, in the release.

Seminar topics will include integrity and the consequences of integrity failures; identification of professional gray areas and value-driven behaviors

The seminar cost is $199 and includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. Registration is limited to 25 participants.
