Genesis: BMW from the Beginning

BMW Car Club of America Foundation Museum’s new exhibit spotlights BMW’s history through vintage automobiles and motorcyles from 1927 to 1965. The exhibit, $12 for adults and $6 for children 6-12 years old, follows the company’s beginnings as an airplane engine maker during World War I and expansion into motorcycles and cars during the 1920s.

Greenville Triumph Home Match

Greenville’s USL League One soccer team will play Forward Madison FC at Legacy Early College on Saturday at 3 p.m. Seating for fans will be limited.

Anderson Sings

The first round of United Way of Anderson’s virtual singing contest with a $1,000 grand prize opened for voting today, lasting until Sept. 12 at noon. Contestants, who have submitted video performances on the event’s Facebook page include Jerrad, Gypsy Sallies, R.J. and David Rodriguez and the Latin Caravan. The second round of voting will commence Sept. 12 until Sept. 14. Each vote costs $1 and benefits the United Way.
